Tzu-Hao Cheng, Ph.D.
Tzu-Hao Cheng is a professor and has served as Chairman at the Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at National Yang-Ming University, Taipei, Taiwan. He is currently on a leave of absence from the University to work intensively at Nuredis leading the Research team. His research interest and expertise is in the field of neurodegenerative disorders that are caused by an abnormal expansion of nucleotide repeats in the disease gene. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology at Rutgers University, and trained as a post-doctoral fellow under the mentorship of Dr. Stanley N. Cohen at Stanford University.
